The holidays are over and the grandchildren are back in school so it is time
to flee the gray skies, gray roads, brown grass, and brown trees of cold
damp

SE PA and head south to SW FL  This trip will be bitter sweet as it will be
the last one for the engine in our 91 Tintop.  A couple of weeks after we
are down there, I'm traveling back to my brother's house in NC to pull the
engine to refresh with new bearings, rings, and heads.  I really don't want
to mess with it because it just runs sooooo sweet and smooth, but it has
317,000 miles on it, the heads leak when it sits and the OAT is below 40,
and lube oil analysis is indicating elevated metals.  So, before I have a
boat anchor, out it comes.
