I had Weddle upgrade my 2WD 094 Transmission to a 5spd with .77 4th gearset and the VW locking diff from a Syncro.

I also put in the 5spd shift linkage. This was done many years ago and it is a great setup. If I had to do it again, I would probably go with a little more of an OD for 5th.

With what I got, I hit about 3500rpm at 70mph. Mileage improved by about 1mpg.
