I'm surprised David B hasn't replied, he took a blower apart. Seems that the inner bearing, the one closest to fan blade, is a bugger to get at. Have to pull the fan from shaft which is a real chore.

You can get some lube into the exposed outer bearing. The shaft is exposed and if you are patient and use a little heat, you can get some oil to seep in between shaft and bushing.

Then I'd suggest gluing a cap on to cover that exposed shaft end.
