I've been running the GW reduction gear starter for two years now and am very happy. That said, I may not have had a starter problem at all! Had to hit old one with hammer to get turning sometimes. Tried different iggy switch-nuhuh. Put on GW starter and was good for 400 mi. Then had to hit the nEw one a time or two😣, call AAA, tried once more and started! WT-. Turned out my alt was not putting out enough amps plus I had a weak cell in the batt. New batt from Walmart and alt from Autozone and all happy since. Found these things out when Autozone ran tests at their store on my van. Maybe try that first? Good luck and happy trails.
