I have been using the10 foot Fiamma for about 15 years on my 90 Westy with the two Fiamma mounts. I added a third mount in the middle a couple of years ago. Neither the Fiamma or the third party mounts have to be bolted on but that gives a more secure feeling. And never any problems at highway speeds.
