Heck no. It's purely a cop-out. All conversions bolted to a wbx bell housing use the same flywheel diameter and depth.

FWIW, I've sold the TDI starter adaptors to folks with V-8 powered and Subie six cylinders, diesels with 23:1 compression, and everything in between. The IMI won't touch those, not nearly the cranking speed or torque of the TDI starter. Three failed IMI starters within 50K miles on a customer's diesel conversion is what spawned my original prototype. Karl
