Don, I got those tires back in December and though I didn't end up making
the drive south that was a part of the reason, I have driven the camper
some locally, and I am VERY pleased.  I have 195R14.  They do well in snow
and ice.  I consider them a keeper, and I will get them again if need be.
The only caveat I can offer is that they are not readily available, have to
be ordered in.  But what's new in Vanagon land about that?
