These things will last a good long time if just cared for.

My 91 auto tintop has 320,000 miles. I had it since new and the one only owner. I use it to travel from PA to Southwest FL a couple of times a year. This year after dropping of my wife and dog, I drove back up to my brother's in NC where we pulled the engine to freshen up. The crank measured up so standard bearings, rebuilt rods, piston rings, and new heads went back on. Drove it around for about 50 miles, changed the oil, then drove back 800 miles to FL.
