Subject: idle adjustment problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

hi all,

could anyone help me with this idle adjustment problem...

1988 WBX engine, manual trans - full tune up with new spark plugs, dist. cap, rotor, oxygen sensor, air filter, fuel filter, oil change - new vacuum hoses - replacing throttle body with a good used one because of bad TB switch - the switch has clicking noise just off idle.. - replace AFM with a rebuilt one 6 months ago - new cat. converter /muffler 3K miles ago

After replacing throttle body the idle stays at 1100/1200 rpm - the big screw on the throttle body is ALL THE WAY in, if I back it out the idle will rise

so the question is why and how to fix this...

I appreciate any help...

thanks in advance

dan
