Yes, you can hear the motor run for a couple seconds when you press up, then again when you press down, but the windows doesn’t move at all.
I guess there’s a regulator in the very near future.

If you can hear the motor, then the regulator has probably failed. There is a plastic pin in the cable system in the regulator that fails. It's really mickey-mouse. Someone on this list rebuildd these regulators and puts metal pins or ruivets in plat of plastic. I would get one of those. They less expensive than new regulators.
