SMALL job ? if you completely refurbish that heater box, removing rust from the metal flaps and heater core cover, rust painting the rusted parts, cleaning all the dirt out from the plastic housing, installing all new foam seals where needed (everywhere in my experience), installing the motor, maybe replacing the ballast resistor and the more than likely the leaking heater core, putting the heater box all back together and repairing any broken plastic pieces, replacing any of the four plastic clips that hold the footwell flap in place, installing the 11 clips needed to hold the heater box together (unless someone before you had that box apart and used the clips), drilling, tapping any of the four mounting screw holes that hold the heater box on the firewall plus adding new acres as necessary, repairing or replacing any of the four control cables, maybe replacing the front heater valve if it’s leaking (more than likely) and then dealing with all the screwed up wiring under the dash that previous intruders have left in a mess and R&R the dash and all the stuff that may need repaired or replaced in that process, there is no way this is a SMALL job and I surely will not do all that for $350 ! Did you look at my document on the repair of the front heater ? <http://www.frankcondelli.com/heater.htm>
