Thanks Stuart. I’ll give this a shot again. I tried an off brand Super Glue at first without good results. Not sure if it was a drying issue or a plastics chemistry one… Its strange that it’s a problem as this is a non-pressurized situation - only incoming and outflow from the end of the aerator… and it still leaks.
