First question, is it below freezing in winter where you are?  It will split it if it has water in it, but if you make sure the faucet is pointing down when not in use it will drain out. Or, you can pour a bottle of cheap vodka into the drained tank at season’s end, run it through the system, and then drink the remainder to toast the arrival of spring!

 

Solvents will also weld ABS. Acetone is the safest, but a thickened super glue would be better and easier to control. You should use a utility cutter blade to open up the crack a bit to get the glue in. Best to remove the faucet, dry it out with a hair dryer, and work on a bench. Be sure to hold the crack together for a minute or three. My experience has been with the OEM Delta Six faucet which I managed to freeze repeatedly (the base would crack), but super glue always worked.

I’ll give this a shot again. I tried an off brand Super Glue at first without good results. 

Not sure if it was a drying issue or a plastics chemistry one…

 

Its strange that it’s a problem as this is a non-pressurized situation - only incoming 

and outflow from the end of the aerator… and it still leaks.

The faucet arm extension for my ShurFlo in our 86 Westy has developed a
crack along the mold seam.
Does anyone know where I can pick one of these pieces up without having to
purchase the entire unit?
Or better yet - is there an adhesive thats friendly for this plastic and for
drinking water?
