C. Abney, please, please. It looks to me like Ben was simply explaining
the policy of his FB group. Mainly, it looks like he was pointing out the
stricture against advertising for commercial purposes on the group, and the
discouragement of advertising competing groups. Both sound reasonable to
me, and I was one who questioned (without any real knowledge, and I just
asked if it were true) the existence of another Vanagon medium that forbade
mentioning this list. It sounds like so far as Ben's group is concerned,
there is not. And I see nothing "elliptical" or otherwise confusing or
avoiding about any of the posts on the matter.
Let's get back to the point of this thread, and that is that one of our
members, a longstanding and respected business person, is retiring from
business, and will no longer be available to service our vehicles.
Congratulations to Zoltan for a well earned retirement, and here's hoping
that he might remain active enough to at least provide advice from time to
time for folks who need it.
