Thanks for your response everyone. My steering wheel horn pad is padded, well, it's no longer attached, the clip broke. That's another asap fix (for state inspection) I DO have a Bentley manual. Sadly, I don't even know enough about the van, or mechanical things, to even know where to start half of the time. I'll check Into the condition of rack, and go from there. Parts pricing is significant for just tie rod vs. Steering rack.
