I just saw a thread on the Samba where someone states that the GW struts
are 150 lb / each. I don't know where that info comes from – I assume it's
through direct correspondence w/ GW, since it's not stated on the website.

I'm also interested in some beefy struts for my hatch with fully loaded GL
rack. I've been nearly cut in half when my tube-over-the-extended-strut
slipped off.
