Can you give us a link for the stainless version?

Nice! My EVC had gas springs for the kitchen lid, and I've often thought about that mod. But I've since found a source for stainless steel versions of the OEM type prop. Oh well.

Coincidentally to the recent hatch strut discussion, today I got another one of my Chinese mail deliveries.

I'm totally hooked on small purchase from banggood. I mean, it's not like everything is great but the expense is small and many of the things turn out pretty damn good,

This package was 4 short gas charged struts. I used one of them this afternoon to finally replace the broken leg type support on the kitchen unit lid.
