Gearwrench: isn't that the same outfit who has been making Craftsman stuff for a long time? It's pretty good. If you want to go high end there are a lot of US and German/Euro possibilities. Google Stahlville for instance. I guess snap-on and Matco are still made here.

Expect to pay $$$ though.
