YES, Phosphate free for sure. It will "help” keep the engine’s interior corrosion to a minimum. Even though a lot of the Phosphate free coolants may say Lifetime, in the VW Waterboxer engine which was made from a very low quality of aluminum, it NEEDS to be changed every two years to keep the corrosion level low. The problem with this Coolant story is that by the time you find there is a problem from using the wrong coolant there is nothing short of a rebuild that will fix the damage done by the wrong coolant. There is nothing visible and it will not cause any running or cooling issues by using the wrong coolant.
