I've been tracking down a poor running condition for a while. I found some marginal parts and replaced them and it ran better but not perfect. I started attacking every individual component and finally found the small vacuum leak that had been the root of all my issues. I was talking to a buddy of mine who is super sharp on the Digifant system and he made an interesting point that all of the diagnostic information available is based all components operating perfectly. I've had a few Mechanics look at it and couldn't find it. It's just perseverance, Mine now idles perfectly and has a few new parts along the way. If all else fails the Ford dealership has rows and rows of New cars for sale.
