Subject: Heater Hose lengths
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

Hello Folks,

Can someone please tell me the correct amount of hose to get for replacing the heater hoses that run along with the larger coolant pipes? I have a 85 2wd manual vanagon.

I have read 27 feet and 30 feet.

It seems I nicked one while replacing the coolant plastic pipes with the stainless steel ones. honestly I feel foolish having done that! in hindsight I should have replaced those hoses anyhow.

I found gates standard safety hose 28411. Any concerns with using this type of hose?

Thanks in advance, Tony
