Hi, I am going to service my CV joints this weekend. I've decided it's worthwhile to invest in a torque wrence as I will be doing more work on my van over the next while. I didn't realize there were so many ranges available for a torque wrenches! I believe the CV bolts are 35 foot lbs of torque. 10-150 ft lbs 25-250 ft lbs 10-80 ft lbs 30-150 ft lbs, etc Then there's the size... I'm thinking 3/8 is probably fine, or should I go to a 1/2"? Thanks, Steve Williams. |
