My recently-acquired Multivan automatic arrived with a 'new' rebuilt starter
when I bought it. One of the first things I did was to yank that off the van
and install one of my adaptors and new TDI starter so I never have to worry
about the quality of the old rebuild again.
So - if someone needs a 'new' rebuilt starter for cheap I have one. ;)
