FWIW.... on my recent nearly 10K mile trip, I found that simple things like emery cloth, bailing wire, duct tape, electrical tape, various fasteners, soldering iron, electrical connectors, wire, connector cleaner, various lubes, have been most useful. I'd carry those regardless of what spare parts I'd carry. In fact, I also bought a cheap cordless drill and bits while on this trip. Something I used to carry some time ago. Mostly handy for modifications done while on the road but potentially super handy regardless. Neil. |
