Hi all. I finally got around to doing a more recent compression test on my 1988 2.1 WBX. Engine cold: all cylinders 120 PSI. (throttle valve switch was DIS-connected though. I smelled fuel. Maybe fuel washed down the cylinders?) Engine warm, bottom of case 39ยบ C, throttle switch connected Cylinders 1/3 120 Cylinders 2/4 150 Throttle body valve was open for each test. As a last resort, I will check the head nuts to see if any are obviously loose but do those readings possibly indicate a cam issue? Neil.
