After I made some major upgrades to my van in 2003 and 2004, I asked my insurance agent about getting correct valuation on van. He told me to go to a certain auto appraiser and get an appraisal. Appraisal came back at $6000.00. I thought it was a good number and have had this so-called stated value insurance on the van ever since. What kind of non-Westy vanagon can one get for $6K. Right now it is bottom of the line 84 7-passnger with non-working A/C.
