Here in NW France, Honfleur with a friend from Amsterdam He has a 84 1.6 diesel recently totally rebuilt engine runs great hard top camper
the temp warning light just started and keeps blinking but the temp gage is normal the radiator is not hot I put my hand on it and it is not hot and the coolant level is good Do not think there is air in the system … seems normal no swings in the temp gage the previous owner told him about this problem before and he had it solved not sure how quoting : “ lift cover of instrument cluster, find part with 3 little legs, containing fuse. the part changes voltage from 12 to 9 volts. At 12 volts it starts to protest ". (We could not find this part ) The diesel tank sensor works fine. He does not have the big manual Any ideas of the source of the problem and how to solve it
