Eric,
When you engage the front windshield washer switch by pulling it towards
you, do the wipers turn on? If the pump doesn't turn on and the wipers
don't turn on, it's likely the switch on the steering column. I cleaned
mine and it started worked perfectly, for a while. Apparently this is
somewhat of a regular maintenance item . . .
It's been a while since I did it, but I thought I did it by pulling off the
horn cover and steering wheel and cleaning all the contacts on the horn
ring at the same time as I cleaned the contacts for the wiper switch.
Before I pulled off the steering wheel, I took a Sharpie and marked its
location on the splined part so that I could put it back exactly where it
was. Bonus: The horn sounded great after I did this, not anemic like it
usually was!
