Ok. Ya, I had an intermittent failure on a fuel pump relay on my swap; broken hard wire inside. This was due, in part, to how I'd mounted the relay btw. It was a new OEM part with low-isa miles.

So the engine loses power when it hits 3K RPM? Any other symptoms?

Since you replaced the FP relay, I'd have a close look at wires, connectors close to that relay. See if something got dislodged. The harness is pretty old by now.
