There are def diff between fiber and metal. Bear in mind our fiber is normally not insulated, too. After living for 5 years in a 170" Sprinter with a fiber top I'm very glad it was bright white. The chassis did become a virtual oven in the Texas heat tho'. That's when I learned the Ten Commandments of Thermal Mitigation (for fulltimers that is).
