I'd like to agree with Dennis, but if you had the wrong sender you'd get no blink with key on/engine off, and constant blink any time oil pressure was over ~13 psi. That does not sound like what you're experiencing. Time to get in there with voltmeter and see what the sender is actually doing, and pressure gauge to see what the engine is doing. Maybe the L-board is flaky?
