Subject: '84 Vanagon 1.9 engine oil pressure switch etc
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8; format=flowed

Had to let my local TBA deal with an apparently defective oil pressure switch. Switch replaced, but oil light was flashing regularly at idle when went to pick up van. Got a call this afternoon. Mgr. claimed wire was disconnected at instrument panel, and when shop reconnected it, light was off at idle, but came on steady at slight acceleration. Never any problems with oil pressure other than recent switch problem. Engine is 2003 Boston Engine long block.

Van has late model instrument cluster (from batch available in 1999). I have lost crib sheet for wiring changes required this instrunent cluster. If you know of where I can find one on Internet, please send me the URL.

Thank you,

John
