There is nothing wrong with the shirt pocket plunger gauges, just use the right scale. 0-50 for the Vanagon. O-100 isn't really accurate enough. For the fun of it ask your store to let you take three or four out to test, and see if they all agree (though you will let out a bit of air each time).

Hi list,

I've had a tire issue (blowout on the interstate) that I suspect is due to my own neglect. I've been using those pencil gauges for years and have never really trusted them. So the wakeup call is to get a new gauge. Any recommendations for something that won't take up too much glove box room?
