Subject: List archives have problems w. encoded email formats. Set your
email program to plain ASCII text
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

Some posts are not readable in the vanagon list archives. AFAIK this might be because the email program used by the author send it using some new encoding (mime). This is a pity. The archives are a valuable resource. Here is an example where I cannot see the post in the archives:" http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind1706a&L=vanagon&F=&S=&P=2003"

http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind1706a&L=vanagon&F=&S=&P=2003

( I copied the url in quotes also in the hope it would not get changed) The list admins might know better, but it seems to me that the best solution is that everyone who posts to the list makes sure their email program sends plain ASCII text. This would be in the settings of your email program. Martin (Listmember since '94)82 1.9TD and 85 gas Westies.
