Hi guy ,

I am installing a second oil cooler in the front of my air-cooled vanagon 1983 camper. I am using a PTFE braid AN8 hose line and was wondering about a way to better shield the hose from the hight exhaust temperature by using a sleeve.

I found this one: http://www.extremeheatprotection.com/AB-Thermal-catalog-S-FG-KP.pdf

Did any one tried to prevent or shield the oil hose against temp above the exhaust ? If so , How ?

Thanks for any advise.

Chris
