You can buy very thin double sided tape at body shop supply store, 3M. Glue the tape on all around then put the vapor barrier over it, then just cut off the excess with a blade. Got to leave some pocket for the speaker. Zoltan

I redid my carat passenger door. Used a piece cut from a heavy yard and garden trash bag. Used 3M sprayon carpet and head liner adheavise Worked great!

I had to install it on my father's 90 Carat. I used the heavy 6mil plastic from Home Depot and secured it with 3M Weather-stripping adhesive. Plus tape to hold it until the adhesive cured.

Almost bought them, until I found it was just plastic (heavy) off a roll. Needs to be shaped, cut, and no adhesive. I thanked them for making Vanagon interior replacement parts, but decided to get the plastic from my basement. Next question, is there any way to lube the window mechanism, and any pointers or things to watch out for?

Thanks; Dave B.

I was flipping through my Sewfine catalog yesterday and was surprised to see on page 43 that they sell a set of Vanagon front door vapor barriers for$15.
