Hey all,

I ended up cutting the kinked hose and putting a copper elbow in its place. Copper probably isn't necessary since it's not under immense pressure but it's all they had in the correct size where I was.

At any rate, it works as designed now. We filled up yesterday to test it and the weep hole actually did its job, imagine that! Without opening the tank or any of that.

Thanks again for all the advice.

Best,
