I'm sure Alistair would have done this correctly but would suggest to others that when re installing the aluminum finned unit, make sure the left hand end (as you look at it installed) is NOT seated over the lip on the left hand end of the black "cold" tube. Also, there should be a narrow ~ 2" long white bit that holds the flexible silver looking tube into place (against it really) on the finned unit. That tube comes from the thermostat and AFAIK its purpose is to "read" the temperature at the finned unit.
