First off use heat from a hair dryer or heat gun to warm them up, otherwise you risk breaking them. The part that goes in the frame twist locks in place the part that gores in the lens snaps in place, it’s the one you need to be careful with. I like to remove the plastic tip and put it into the lens by itself first, then pop the lens onto the metal ball of the adjuster.
