I'm not keen on running down someone's choices. though when we began to see what could be done with OUR 2.5 Subies with failed motors, I found many many failed Subies on the various web sales sites, head gasket failures. They​ musta sold a lot of them with that problem... I have one now, 97, near PDX, that's available for $300. New radiator and newish tires.. whole car for the cost of scrap metal...
