Hmmm...... . The original gray rubber (or plastic?) floor in my 1991
Volkswagen Vanagon GL Campmobile is essentially indestructible. On top of
that, there is a gray carpet that appears to have been original equipment
(matches all the rest of the interior, same carpeting as the cockpit). It
is a removable mat with finished edges, not a fitted carpet fastened down.
I bought, probably didn't need, but wife wanted it, a rubber mat from
GoWesty. It too is virtually indestructible. It may be "elephant bark"
for all I know. It was cheaper than the elephant bark I just checked the
price on at the link you provided. All three of these floors can be
scrubbed easily. Soap and water, a bit of brush work, and they are
spotless. The carpet takes a little while (usually 24 hours or so) to dry.
The flower covered floor sounds pretty neat, actually.
