With regards toCclutch master cyl and Brake master cyl (both under dash), they are relatively cheap, just replace them, save you bucks and time down the road. These items do where out and often go bad on a trip :-)
Do it while your dash is out ! Sean G

You might:
See if heater motor needs replacement. You might take the heater assembly out and clean the heater core.
See if heater and vent controls need adjusting or cables replaced
See if radio antenna needs replacing. Routing the cable is easy with dash out.
See vacuum booster is OK as well as lines to it
See if master cylinder is leaking as well as the clutch master cylinder.
See about cleaning the common ground plug.
General cleaning.
Cheers
Jaime

Following up on my "brake pedal not retracting' question from a while
ago, we finally got her into the shop and the diagnosis is that it's
the brake booster (thanks for the pointer Ken!)
My new question for the list is as to what repair/replacements we
might want to do while the dash is completely out. Would love to save
on duplicate labor costs if we can.
This is for an 85 Westy.
Thanks!
