Hi all. This is a very broad question, but of the 4 pin Bosch OBD1 (possibly OBD2) MAF, do they all work in the same manner? i.e. is the internal circuitry, voltage spec supplied to the part, the same? I'm looking at a $400 Volvo 850. It actually drives "ok". Needs MAF (poor idle) and ignition switch and/or tumbler. (battery has to be disconnected to shut off the dash "idiot" lights). I have to wonder if a MAF from an OBD1 Jetta might work with this Volvo.
