Oh thanks. Back in the eighties I lived in a cottage by the sea. Across the little bay was a friend in similar cottage. His father lived in the big house on the property. The father was an eccentric type, spent all his free time in the sun and on his nicely outfitted Haida sailboat ( look it up, west coast design).
Anyway, old man matson never got my name right. He got it in his mind it was Alison. He would call to me across the little cove, yelling Alison. I would make a point of ignoring him. He thought I was deaf rather than he had my name wrong. Now it all begins again. So I'm ignoring you Roy. :-) Alistair > On Jul 5, 2017, at 7:12 PM, Roy Nicholl <RNicholl@NBNet.nb.ca> wrote: > > No … I’m afraid that one might stick … I’ve even changed your name in my e-mail filter <see above>. > >> On 05-Jul-2017, at 18:50, Alistair Bell <albell@SHAW.CA> wrote: >> >> Hey Dave, >> >> I'm only Allison on the weekends. >> >> :-) >> >> Yeah, as a kid was always envious of the wood species on the east coast of the us.
