I put an Optima battery under my driver seat.  It lasted 1 summer.  I tried to get it warrantied and was denied.  I since have been using regular non deep cycle batteries from Walmart or Sam's.  They last about 3 years with alot of use.  I am also running a truck fridge

The best part of this battery is the advertisements. Seriously the only real advantage over the standard group 41 is the fact that it is a sealed AGM battery. It actually has a lower A/H rating. Yes it should last longer than the Auto battery but the price is the same as almost 3 of those. While 300 cycles sounds impressive a true deep cycle battery should give 500 to 700. Most consider a lead acid battery to be cycled anytime you go below 50% state of charge and/or going above 80% such as a full/finishing charge cycle. Going to single group 27 battery either by changing location or modifying the battery box ala Karl's approach gets you to 100 A/H. A group 31 battery get you ~125 A/H. If you want a sealed battery a choice such as the Lifeline would be much better than the Odyssey.

I believe it fits under the driver seat perfectly if laid on its side.
There is a huge difference in prices from retailer to retailer.
