We did a non-Westy trip to Illinois and saw only one Vanagon the entire drive, a westbound maroon hardtop with roof rack and Rocket Box, bra and alloys. That sighting occurred on I-70 in Ohio more than 1,500 miles into the trip while we were on the way home. Heck, who'd have thought I'd see more T4s than T3s? I saw two Rialtas and two more EVs, one a hardtop and the other a poptop. There was also a perfect green Bay Westy being transported on a commercial rig. Guess our numbers are getting a little thin.
