Hi Folks, 1989 Vanagon with Bostig conversion. I'm wondering if people notice any difference whether the air box is hooked up to the tubing coming down from the external vent or not? I was just checking the air filter and realized it's paper tubing coming from the external vent is in such terrible shape that I can't connect it to the air filter box. Is anyone else dealt with this problem? Are there alternate configurations that work well? Is it ok to just leave things as they are? I'm guessing that without forced air input there's potential for emissions issues. Any thoughts? Cheers, Harry |
