When you jumper the 12V to coil positive, you should hear ECU relay click, then as soon as the ECU powers up the fuel pump relay should click and operate the pump for a couple seconds. Obviously if you are flooding this part has been working. If symptoms are as you describe your coil is a prime candidate. Get Joel to come over with ECU, coil, distributor potential swaps. And while you're waiting, do the resistance tests in Bentley on the coil and the ECU harness.
