Hi Dick,

Your delay module is pretty well perfect. If you can't get it working again there is my banggood substitute. I've made a video showing it mocked up, set for 12 second delay on the relay.

Relay has both normally open and normally closed "outputs". The trigger signal is 12 volts via the push button switch I wired up in the demo. Having the trigger being a 12 volt signal does make things more complicated with the switched ground set up in the van door activated lights. 

The timer display can be turned off, as shown at end of vid. The timer setting stays in memory even if all power cut to the unit.
