Thats great! So about 5 seconds eh? I'd think that for a festoon the cap(s) would have to be much bigger. But maybe 3 of those small LED's would be plenty? FWIW, my thought was to install the push button on the cowling above the steering column. Hate to drill holes but..... Maybe use an adhesive backed switch like this? https://www.amazon.com/uxcell®-Adhesive-Button-Momently-Action/dp/B00TO7JLZA I originally thought to use this with a larger LED festoon somewhere mid dash pointing down (maybe something along the lines of a map light. One that is also switch on the 30 buss) but it wouldn't be hard to ground switch that gizmo in the door light switch circuit and just use the OEM dome light. The other thought is that like my Honda Accord, wire a small soft light LED near the ignition tumbler. When drivers door is closed, that light comes on. You can see which key to select and find the hole. Neil.
